Garbage Garage Hosts Earth Day Challenge

The Garbage Garage, an educational center at the Larimer County Landfill, is hosting an Earth Day Art Challenge. They are issuing an Earth Day Challenge to adults (21-100), teens (13-18), and youth (6-12) to create a piece of “ART” from trash!

GUIDELINES:
Pick up a bag of items between March 30 and April 10, 2015,
Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. at the Landfill
Business Office or at the Garbage Garage (Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday, 10a.m.-2p.m.) Create your masterpiece and return it to either location (during their hours of operation as above) no later than April 16! It will be on display at the Garbage Garage where visitors will vote for their favorite in each category during Earth Week! (April 20-24.)
PRIZES WILL BE AWARDED!!

The Garbage Garage is located at the Larimer County Landfill, 5887 S. Taft Hill Road, Fort Collins.

CHALLENGE RULES
 Every item in the bag must be used in some way;
 Art piece must be designed to be hung or placed on a table;
 Please provide a “Title” for your art piece;
 Items can be folded, rolled, flat, or shaped in any way;
 You may utilize glue, paste, caulk, tape, staples, paper clips, string or rubber bands to hold items together.
