One of the City
of Greeley Art Commission’s new endeavors is the manhole cover design
project and they are looking for artists. The plan is to add art to city
streets that also brings awareness to our water resources and to
stormwater pollution.
If you have an idea that you would love to see in one of Greeley’s high foot-traffic areas, start drawing! You have until 5 p.m., March 30, 2015, to submit your idea. One artist whose design is selected by the committee will be awarded $1000! (While multiple runner-up artists/designs may be selected for the project but will not receive a cash award.)
