FRIDAY, JANUARY 16TH 6:00-7:30. Contemporary Dance Academy of Fort Collins is proud to be the first stop on a National Audition tour for a company and school based out of California called State Street Ballet!! This audition is for their summer intensives in both California or Durango and gives dancers a wonderful opportunity for a master class and audition experience. Summer intensives are a wonderful way for dancers to continue their growth in the summer, experience an array of classes in a professional environment, and take classes from teachers from all over the world. The audition will take place at CDA on Friday, January 16th from 6:00-7:30. Check in will begin at 5:30. Please see below for audition requirements.
1. Dancers need to be ages 12-21
2. Dancers should wear pink tights, a black leotard, pink ballet slippers, with hair tightly secured in a bun, and bring pointe shoes if they have them
3. Submit a letter of recommendation from your current instructor.
4. Photo in 1st arabesque
5. Include a $20 non-refundable application fee
