Mesa Verde: Story of People Through Landscapes and Time

Join the Fort Collins Museum of Discovery for this Digital Earth exploration of a place that has seen tremendous change over geologic and cultural time scales. Using the OtterBox Digital Dome Theater as our immersive time machine, we’ll examine the links between geology, geomorphology, and the Ancestral Puebloans to discover an integrated record of the Earth’s changes over deep and shallow time, setting the stage to ponder changes taking place today.
Presenters include Dr. Ka Chun Yu the Curator of Space Science at DMNS, Dr. Steve Nash the Curator of Archaeology at DMNS, and Geologist Bob Raynolds a Research Associate at DMNS.
December 11, 7:00 – 9:00 pm
Tickets $7 nonmembers, $5 members
