Audition call for young actor

The Union Colony Civic Center, in conjunction with Phoenix Entertainment, is searching for one young male actor between the ages of 8 and 13, and under 5 feet tall, to portray the role of “Tom of Warwick” in the National Tour of Camelot, one of Broadway’s greatest and longest running musicals.
Auditions will be held on Monday, January 5, 2015 at 5pm at the Union Colony Civic Center in Greeley. Actor must bring a headshot and 50 word bio to the audition. Actor must also be able to attend rehearsal, wardrobe fittings and live performance on the afternoon/evening of February 2, 2015 and will need a chaperone over 18 years of age to accompany him at all times.
Tom of Warwick is an acting role with no singing required. This young actor should be able to memorize approximately 10-15 lines and take simple stage direction quickly. This production is an honest, grounded production in style. The actor needs to be present and energetic without pushing the acting and dialogue. If interested, you must contact Mari Hein Beegle, UCCC Programming Coordinator at Mari.Heinbeegle@greeleygov.com for audition material and further instructions.
