CSU Holiday Spectacular!

CSU’s Annual Holiday Spectacular returns to the University Center for the Arts this season on Saturday, Dec. 6, with performances at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.  The popular performances will be held in the Griffin Concert Hall at the University Center of the Arts, at 1400 Remington St. in Fort Collins. This year, proceeds from the concert will be directed toward music scholarships at CSU.
Tickets are $10 for CSU students, $10 for youth (under 18), and $20 for the public.
The University Center for the Arts (UCA) ticket office hours have changed. Tickets are available at the ticket office in the UCA lobby 90 minutes prior to any UCA performance and through intermission or online at www.CSUArtsTickets.com. Information about upcoming performances is available by calling (970) 491-ARTS (2787). Advance or online purchase is recommended to avoid at-the-door fees.
The annual concert features performances from the CSU Choirs, the University Symphony Orchestra, and other special guests in a charming evening of traditional secular and sacred holiday music.
This annual celebration of community includes something for all ages to enjoy! The performance includes special cameos from students, faculty, and guests who will highlight their family traditions in celebration of the season.
“This concert is very special to me in many ways,” said Paul Metz, chair of the Department of Music, Theatre and Dance. “Not only do we get to enjoy a lovely holiday program, but we have the opportunity to support the talented young musicians you see on stage in a very meaningful way.”
The program features holiday favorites, a sing-along, loveable characters, and more than 250 CSU musicians on stage.
“I know that there are many events from which to choose during this holiday season,” said Wesley Ferreira, producer of the concert. “I can assure you that this event will be a memorable start to yours!”
