Work it.

Woodley's Fine Furniture is looking for artist of all styles who may be interested in periodically participating in what we call "open houses" at our store locations in 2015. What these "open houses" typically in tale is a local artist and a local vineyard for wine tastings over busy sale weekends. Artist displaying their works routinely sell their art for $50 to $500 depending if value is established so if you have artistic concepts to market that consumers find compelling there is revenue that can be made by participating. This is also something that could be a good fit for someone who principle enjoyment is sharing their talents with others in a retail setting. Any artistic offerings would have to fit in a high end furniture retail environment and would have to be screened via an interview process. The "open houses" that we do typically are done on major holiday weekends for maximum customer traffic exposure so being aware of that type of scheduling is a must so there is not scheduling conflicts. The artist needs to be committed to the 2 or 3 day event and work their display.

This is our 3rd year of teaming up with local artist and a lot of the original artist continue to want to be involved each year. Woodley's does NOT take a percentage of sale or charge for floor space. This is something we do to support local artist and at the same time make our stores more interesting to consumers while they shop for furniture.
