If you have been around Fort Collins Art scene for any amount of time, chances are you have had the pleasure of meeting Dennis & Mickey Bookstaber. They are truely Northern Colorado Arts supporters and just great people! Anyway, a few weeks back, Mickey and I were talking about Dennis' latest project, a heated catmat for their cat, Sparky. Well, good news! just in time for the cold weather (and National Cat Day) Dennnis has finished the mat (and it is beautiful)! Here are some pictures and details from Dennis-
Mickey said that I should send you some photos of the Catmat that I finally finished for our cat Sparky. Attached are a few photos. This device features:
Cat activation (by weight)
Low voltage power supply for safety
Indicator lights for power on (red) and heater on (green)
Thermostat for temperature regulation
Now If I can only get the bugger to try it on his own!
