Meet Local Authors

Jax Outdoor Gear, 1200 N. College Ave., Fort Collins, will host a Local Author Day at 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8.
About 50 local authors will be present to discuss, autograph and sell their books, Bill Greenlee, store manager, said in a press release.
The authors have written about hiking, climbing, camping, horse training, fly-fishing, fossils, ecology, gardening, job-seeking, dog-training, Colorado history, ghost towns and more.
They include local mystery writers, novelists and children's authors, well-known people like author/photographer John Fielder, and newly published writers like Nancy Phillips, author of the just released "A Tardy Justice."
More than 150 titles by the local authors will be available.
Ten percent of the retail price of all books sold at the event will be donated to the Poudre River Library, Greenlee said.
