"Why Black and White"

Cole Thompson is a successful Fort Collins black and white photographer who focuses on Vision and Simplicity.
In his presentation entitled "Why Black and White" Cole will jokingly attempt to convert color photographers to black and white. He will recount his journey to black and white, illustrate why he loves the medium and reveal his most important secrets and tips. He will also explain his photographic philosophies including Photographic Celibacy, Simple and Cole's Rule of Thirds.
During the presentation he will share several of his portfolios including The Ghosts of Auschwitz-Birkenau and Ceiling Lamps, as well as new work from Iceland and Death Valley. The presentation will be followed with a Q&A session and a drawing for three of his prints.
