The drawings on exhibition will reference a broad spectrum of approaches and issues, be they personal or political, social or environmental. This show will have visitors asking the question 'what is a drawing?' further expanding the dialogue and debate that is so pervasive in redefining the current state of contemporary drawing practice. This project is unique since very few public/commercial galleries highlight drawing and very few educational institutions have Fine Art programs that specialize in contemporary drawing as a major field of study. We are fortunate that the CSU Art Department has such a respected program.
