FORT COLLINS MUSEUM OF ART UNVEILS NEW KID-FRIENDLY ART CREATION STUDIO: ART.EDU.OSITY

HOORAY!!!!!!

Fort Collins Museum of Art unveils new kids’ art space: ART.EDU.OSITY. Located in the former Gallery 101 space- this fun, self-directed, creative, get your hands-dirty space is a place for all kids and adults to make some art related to the exhibitions that we are featuring in the museum. All ages can have fun but we also have specific areas for young toddlers, middle school aged youngsters and teens. For the inaugural kick-off of the Art.Edu.Osity space, the projects are geared towards portraiture and faces as Norman Rockwell was a master at capturing priceless expressions of every emotion with his subjects.

The Art.Edu.Osity education center is open the same hours as the museum:
Wednesday - Friday 10:00-5:00pm
Saturday- Sunday 12:00-5:00pm
Closed Monday & Tuesday
Special Note- this education space is not monitored by museum staff and we will not take responsibility for unsupervised children
The museum offers a variety of classes, lectures, workshops and special events that bring our exhibitions to life. FCMOA presents an ongoing series of gallery talks, docent gallery tours and other enriching programs to enhance your understanding of art and FCMOA's exhibitions.

The Fort Collins Museum of Art would especially like to thank Don & Donna Beard for spearheading this project as Honorary Chairs of the 2015 Kaiser Permanente Banner Health Masks Project. The museum would also like to thank Gary and Carol Ann Hixon for being major donors for this project.
