The Global Village Museum thanks members and friends with their visits to the Museum and attendance at our cultural programs and exhibit openings. Your Global Village Museum of Arts and Cultures is once again seeking your assistance. Our community of internationally-minded folks has been incredibly supportive of Your Museum for the past five years. We are Colorado’s only international museum with its four varied and fascinating ever-changing galleries—plus a new hall of textiles.
The purpose of this appeal is to help us reach our Fall 2015 campaign goal of raising $40,000 by October 31st. An anonymous donor has offered a $20,000 matching grant if we can raise an additional $20,000. As of September 16, we have raised almost $12,000 plus another $3,500 in pledges. Hopefully we can count on YOU to help us meet this crucial goal.
When you donate $250 or more you become an adoptive parent! With an “Adopt an Artifact” donation you may select an artifact, which has special meaning to you. Your signature on a card will be displayed by the artifact until the end of the year. More than a dozen of our challenge match donors are new adoptive parents of unique treasures!
Every membership counts! Many of you continue to give through your annual Global Village Museum memberships. We are proud each year the membership numbers have grown: 108 in 2012, 153 in 2013, and 170 by the end of last year. Help us reach our goal of 185 for 2015 by renewing your membership or becoming a member and receive 1 of 3 Peace Corps Books. The books are compilation of stories from volunteers from Eurasia, South Pacific, & Americas.
