Why go to a craft school?

I spent two weeks at Haystack in Deer Island, Maine.  It was a wonderful, intense time where I was allowed to totally immerse myself in my work.  Being a Mom, I appreciated the uninterrupted time to explore.  They even cooked for me!  It was heaven.  I also came away with the goals of furthering my education by going to Graduate School at MICA.  This is a wonderful article by the head of Haystack, Stewart Kestenbaum.

*They regret to mention Anderson Ranceh, our own Rocky Mountain Craft School in Snowmass.
