If you are a sculptor any where on earth who feels your work is
beautifully narrative and of the highest craftsmanship, I cannot
emphasize enough the importance of applying to the Virginia Groot Foundation grant. Research the amazing sculptors who
have gone before you. First prize $35,000, second $10,000 and third
$5000.....so this is real money folks. They put out a publication on the
early winners, and I assume those publications will continue in the
future. Your application MUST be postmarked by Feb. 28th.....so get
moving!
