Fort Collins Symphony "Captivated By Love"

Let love, romance, and love triangles capture your soul.  Wagner’s Prelude and Liebestod from Tristan und Isolde is filled with smoldering passion. Richard Strauss’ great comic opera, Rosenkavalier, is the source for a suite beloved for both its ardor and poignancy. Enjoy two famous romances by Bruch and Beethoven with our own Stacy Lesartre, concertmaster, and Ethan Hecht, principal viola.  The show starts at 7:00 p at the Lincoln Center.

The Symphony is also presenting two free programs this week:

A Composer Talk on February 4th at 12:00 at the Downtown Library.  There is NO CHARGE to attend and no reservation is required.  Don't miss our entertaining and wonderfully informative talks about the composers featured in each concert. Light refreshments will be served and brown bag lunches are welcome. Attendees will also have a chance to win a drawing for Symphony concert tickets!

An Open Rehersal February 5th at 7:00 at the Lincoln Center.  A Fort Collins Symphony FREE open rehearsal is an actual, preparatory rehearsal. Sitting-in on an open rehearsal gives you a birds-eye view into the complex and fascinating process the Symphony goes through in its quest for musical perfection.
