CCI announces registration and speaker lineup for 4th annual Creative Industries Summit

 Colorado Creative Industries (CCI) today announced the full speaker lineup for the 4th annual Colorado Creative Industries Summit. Registration is now open for the summit, which will be held April 23-24, 2015 at the Lincoln Center in Fort Collins, CO. An early bird price of $135 is available for conference attendees who register before March 20, 2015.

The summit will host more than 30 distinguished national and local panelists and speakers, including cultural leaders, artists, business experts and creative community development specialists. Keynote speakers include nationally recognized performance artist Suzi Q. Smith and producer and creator of the Vans Warped Tour Kevin Lyman, with special guest Laura Scanlan from the National Endowment for the Arts. The summit will also feature Fort Collins based arts and creative organizations and an exclusive art walk in the Fort Collins Creative District.

"Colorado has incredible talent working across the creative sector," said Margaret Hunt, director of CCI. "We look forward to bringing together creatives from throughout the state for an exchange of ideas and best practices as we work toward the common goal of a robust creative sector in Colorado."

The lead sponsor for the conference is the Colorado Small Business Development Center, a statewide network dedicated to helping existing and new businesses grow and prosper in Colorado. Additional sponsors include KRFC 88.9 Fort Collins Public Radio, Mishawaka Amphitheatre and the Colorado Office of Film, Television and Media.

The Governor's Creative Leadership Awards luncheon, featuring live musical entertainment, will be the culminating event of the Summit. The Creative Leadership Awards celebrate organizations and individuals that have demonstrated a significant commitment to Colorado's creative landscape through advocacy, vision, collaboration or innovation.
