Einstein's Light

Join us as we welcome writer and film director, Nickolas Barris with host Bruce Adolphe, for three repeat Colorado performance events focusing on this much acclaimed documentary film! Originally shown in January 2015 as the closing event of the UN’s Paris kick-off celebration of the Year of Light observing the 100th Anniversary of Einstein’s theory of relativity, we’re honored to bring this important documentary to Denver, Boulder and Fort Collins.

Additional highlights include: hands-on science exploration for kids; Metropolitan State University’s with a member of the MSU Physics Department (Denver) and UC Astrophysicist Dr. Michael Shull (Boulder and Fort Collins) in a discussion about Einstein’s science then and now; and a live performance by brilliant young violinists Clara Lyon (Denver and Boulder) and Emily Ondracek-Peterson (Fort Collins) with composer, Bruce Adolphe, at the piano.

Fort Collins’ event is a collaboration with the CSU STEM Educators Club, and the unveiling of a new EOC STEM Friday Expedition called “Beams of Light.”
