Grand Opening of Summit Studios

Come celebrate the Grand Opening of Summit Studios new home, and two brand new businesses in the heart of Old Town. First Friday, May 1st!.  To help make the rent more affordable in Old Town They have come up with a creative solution that benefits 3 different businesses.

Partnering up with Bare Bones Haircuts and Red Root Yoga we will share the space at 237 Linden, previously Opiate Gallery.

There will still be a wall to support local guest artists that rotate out each month. This month's guest artist is Sarah Neubert.

Darren Mahuron opened Summit Studios Photography in 2005 and has been pushing the creative edge of commercial photography and video in Northern Colorado for 10 years.

Marie has been a licensed hairstylist in Fort Collins since 2008. She graduated from Hair Dynamics Education Center and continued her education and training at The Parlour salon in Old Town. In 2010 she started working at Scissors and Sinners Barbershop. She spent 4 years there specializing in Mens Barbering, including haircuts, fades, straight razoring, beard and mustache grooming, and styling. She has furthered her education with mens classes in both Denver and New York City. Marie cuts hair 11am-7pm Tuesday through Saturday

Nicole Hussain, owner and instructor at Red Root Yoga & Movement Arts, holds a BFA in Dance and is designated E-RYT (experienced registered yoga teacher) with Yoga Alliance. Nicole has been teaching dance since her early teens and teaching yoga since January 2009. She offers an artful
practice that challenges students to dig deep on all levels, emphasizing authenticity and fearless exploration and expression of self. Her class schedule can be found at www.facebook.com/redrootmovement.

Sarah Neubert has worked with yarn since the fourth grade, picking up fiber crafts here and there and eventually teaching herself to weave. Her approach to weaving is simple and meditative. She uses natural fibers in forms and colors that evoke the wild world. She lives in Fort Collins.
