Do you like to mix it up when making art by including several different
media in one piece? Do you paint on your sculpture or add photographic
imagery to found objects? Then this show is for you. At least two media
are required in a piece but more than two media are encouraged.
Consider weight and the fragility of your media if you are mailing your
entry.
CORE is a cooperative gallery with over twenty skilled artists. We are located in the center of the Art District on Santa Fe in Denver, Colorado where it is common to have thousands of people gather on a First Friday evening, particularly in the warmer months.
The Mixing Your Media juror is Mark Friday, a very accomplished artist with an affinity for mixed-media. Receiving his BA in 1980, Mark’s work spans nearly 40 years and is featured in corporate and private collections throughout the United States. He is currently a faculty member of the Art Student’s League of Denver.
