Fort Collins Museum of Art Features Norman Rockwell’s 323 Saturday Evening Post Covers Exhibition

The Fort Collins Museum of Art invites you to step into the world of Norman Rockwell as the museum exhibits his beloved Saturday Evening Post covers. Opening September 4 at 10:00am, this traveling exhibition brings one of the most popular American artists of the past century to Fort Collins. For nearly seven decades, while history was in the making all around him, Norman Rockwell chronicled our changing society in the small details and nuanced scenes of ordinary people in everyday life. Rockwell’s contributions to our visual legacy, many of them now icons of American culture, have found a permanent place in our national psyche. The exhibition features all 323 Saturday Evening Post covers created by Rockwell from before the 1920’s through the 1960’s. Norman Rockwell’s 323 Saturday Evening Post Covers has been organized by the Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge, Massachusetts. The exhibition is sponsored by the City of Fort Collins, Colorado Creative Industries, ReMax Advanced, Coloradoan, Silver Grill, EKS&H and KRFC.
