WE'RE LOOKING FOR ARTISTS FOR PUBLIC ART PROJECT
We are excited to announce the kick-off of a public art project in conjunction with Denver Arts & Venues. The Denver Arts & Venues Public Art Program seeks to commission an artist, or team of artists, to create an original work of art for the exterior façade of a building on Zoo property, adjacent to City Park and facing City Park’s Duck Lake. The panel is particularly interested in artworks that explore the interplay between the built and natural environment, that celebrate Denver Zoo and City Park, that are sensitive to nearby wildlife, and are calming yet innovative. The project is open nationally to all artists and the deadline to apply is Monday, January 23. Read the full RFQ .here
