Versatile mezzo-soprano Abigail Fischer’s recent performances prompted reviewers to hail her as “riveting” (New York Times), and to remark upon her “throbbing low register and open-hearted performing style” (Wall Street Journal).

See one of the most brilliant and versatile mezzo sopranos on the US musical scene today - NYC based Abigail Fischer. For this light and airy, perfect summer concert this evening’s program centers on a vocal chamber music masterpiece, the Folk Songs of Luciano Berio!   Our stellar octet takes this lush and beautiful setting of 11 international folk songs for voice and instruments on the road for two performances. First to Boulder, in an exciting new partnership at The Dairy Center of the Arts, and then on to Fort Collins to an eclectic, historic downtown location — The Agave Room above The Rio Grande.
