Say it succinctly, and say it in style with letterpress! In this class you will learn the fundamental skills of letterpress including how to set metal and wood type and how to print an edition of 20 prints using Wolverine Farm’s Chandler & Price New Series platen press. Bring a quote, short prose or poem—think six word short stories, haiku, twitter or a favorite quote or saying—and all other materials will be provided. No printmaking experience necessary!

*Be aware that we'll be working with rubber-based inks that are permanent, and using mechanical equipment that runs on an absurd amount or dirty grease and oil. So, wear an apron or wear clothes that you don't mind getting a little dirty and keep long hair tied back.
