The Fort Collins
Symphony has received the largest donation in its history from the
estate of Dr. Karl and Wilma Carson. The gift of more than $120,000 will
benefit the Wilfred (Will) Schwartz Conductor's Endowment Fund.
Maestro Schwartz founded the Symphony in 1949 and served as conductor for 50 years. The Carson's established the Conductor's Endowment Fund as a way to honor their dear friend.
