The Loveland Museum/Gallery invited four artists to create work that reflects the 100th anniversary of the establishment of Rocky Mountain National Park.
The museum provided a few artifacts including a commemorative pin, toasting forks, the first automobile park pass, a Civilian Conservation Corps hat and a painting by Doug Erion done in 1996 of Trail Ridge Road.
This exhibit is called "100 Years: For the Love of Rocky" and will run through March 29. Artists will be on hand tonight in the Green Room from 6 to 9.

I saw this show on Friday. Very intimate, personal perspectives on what the park means to each artist. A lovely show, you should really try to check it out.
