Two Actors and a TV Wanted

I would like to film a short, interior scene in the Fort Collins/Loveland area and would like to find two actors (man and woman) who are roughly between 55 and 65 years old and who will play a married couple. It shouldn't require more than a few hours on one weekend afternoon and I'm willing to pay $100 each.
Most of the film has already been shot and this would be to complete it by adding a 'bookend' segment that rounds out the story and gives a background to the events. While it is a serious drama, it is not a horror film.

Also, I'm currently on the lookout to borrow a 1960-70s era TV for one of the scenes! I think I've got the location all set, but if you know of an older house that has a nice study room and a bit of a hallway/corridor leading to an exterior door, I'd take a look!

c4FAP Heads to Loveland

The Loveland Photographic Society meeting for this month will take place on Monday, Jan. 11, in the Vineyard building at 900 Josephine Court in Loveland.

The club meeting is open to the public and begins at 6:30 p.m. It will begin with a short business meeting. The speaker will start at 7 p.m. A monthly photo competition featuring work by local LPS photographers will close the evening.

Executive director and curator of the Center for Fine Art Photography, Hamidah Glasgow, will share her expertise on how to promote fine art photography. 

Insights will be shared about the ongoing question about fine art photography. What makes an image or a body of work fine art photography? There are many kinds of photography and as many or more ways to promote them. Glasgow will talk about photographic images and their classifications as well as how photographers/artists can find venues to show work.

Glasgow has been the executive director and curator at the Center for Fine Art Photography in Fort Collins since 2009. She holds a master's degree in humanities with a specialization in visual and gender studies and a bachelor's degree in philosophy.

Her contribution to photography has included curatorial projects, national portfolio reviews (FotoFest, Photolucida, Medium, Center, Filter, etc.), contributions to publications and online magazines and the co-hosting of regional conferences.

She is also a co-founder of the Strange Fire Collective. This collective is dedicated to photo-based work that engages with current social and political forces, highlighting the work of women, people of color, and queer and trans artists, writers and curators.

Glasgow's previous professional experience include commercial advertising producer, business development director, firefighter and ski instructor. She has over 15 years of management in the arts nonprofit sector.

Ridgeway Creative District Call for Art

Ridgeway Creative District in Ridgeway, Colorado has two different Requests for Bids/Calls to Artists.

One bid is for Site Furnishings (benches, bike racks, planter pots, and trash/recycling receptacles) which will be installed in downtown Ridgway as part of our highway and downtown improvements over the next couple of construction seasons.  The other is for Sculptures to be installed on four pilasters of the bridge over the Uncompahgre River on Highway 62 and a gateway sculpture at the southwest corner of Hartwell Park, N. Lena St., and Highway 62.

Please note that there are deadlines for asking questions about these bids:  Jan. 22 (Site Furnishings Bid) and Jan. 29 (Sculptures Bid).  The bid submission deadline for each request isMonday, Feb. 29, by 4pm.  Complete bid packets can be requested by contacting Diedra Silbert.
