On Saturday, August 29, the Fort Collins Fringe Festival will present Fringe Out: Free Family Fringe in Library Park (207 Peterson St. Fort Collins) from 12:30 - 2:30 pm.
Freestyle Performances (open call to all performers) will take place between 12:30-2:30pm
This special outdoor event will provide audiences and artists opportunities to experience freestyle performance and community visual art throughout areas of Library Park surrounding the Community Creative Center. Artists of all types are invited to join the Fringe festivities anytime during the two-hour period between 12:30 and 2:30 to perform acts of music, movement, magic, poetry, theatre, visual art, community art projects and anything in between. All performances must be family-friendly and appropriate for public viewing. Park areas are first come, first serve. Freestyle artists can perform anytime, anywhere, however many times in the park between the hours of 12:30 pm and 2:30 pm only. Performances will not be formally curated by Fringe staff during this time, however, staff will be monitoring performances for public safety. Artists are responsible for attracting their own audience. Artists are not allowed to collect money, but can hand out marketing materials. Food trucks will be on site. All activities are open and free to the public. Fringe Festival performances occurring inside the Community Creative Center during these times are ticketed. Tickets to indoor performances are available at the door.
