Donate Kids Books to PHS
Poudre High School's second annual IB Globe Project has begun! Last year we sent care packages to Syrian Refuges and this year we are working with the African Library Project to send books to start a library at a primary school in Swaziland, Africa.
Their goal is to raise $500 and collect 1000 books between now and March 1. Books should be at a preschool to 4th grade reading level in English or French.
They would greatly appreciate your support in addressing the global issue of literacy! Please consider bringing in books and money to donate so that this IB Globe project can be a success! Thank you!

“Surface Variations” an installation and exhibition by Amy Reckley
January 8 - February 27, 2016.
Opening Night: Friday, January 8, 6-9 pm during Night on the Town.
Artist Reception: Friday, January 15, 6:30-8:30 pm.
About the exhibit:
The exhibition uses paint, paper, and other mixed media to explore the space between two and
three dimensional drawing. Amy Reckley’s artwork is currently taking form in the Artworks
gallery through an installation process combining ordinary materials in an unexpected way. She
captures a shift between sculpture and drawing and challenges our associations with
recognizable objects, surfaces and space. The work deliberately changes in orientation and
scale to encourage the viewer to engage in an ongoing dialogue about the expanded definition
of drawing.

Amy Reckley holds a BA from Kalamazoo College, a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate from SACI
in Florence, Italy and an MFA in Drawing from Colorado State University. She has exhibited
internationally and participated in several residencies throughout the United States.

Artworks Loveland is a Colorado non-profit corporation and IRS 501 (c) (3) organization funded
partially by donor contributions and based in Loveland Colorado. It was opened its doors in
2012 under the guidance and support of the Erion Foundation and Artworks Board. Artworks
Loveland is located in the developing Railroad corridor of downtown Loveland Colorado, 3rd

"Natural Shift" at the Fort Collins Museum of Art
The Fort Collins Museum of Art invites you to step into the beautiful world of Natural Shift. Opening Friday, January 22, this group sculpture exhibition gathers together four artists from around the country to explore nature, change and adaption through varied and unique sculpture. Artists include: Leigh Taylor Mickelson (Ossining, NY), Jerry Monteith (Carbondale, IL), Charlotte Nichols (Fort Collins, CO) & Rachel Stevens (Las Cruces, NM). From steel to copper, wood and clay, these four contemporary artists present a look at nature that is full of hidden beauty, resilience and adjustment. The exhibition is on display at the Fort Collins Museum of Art through March 20, 2016 and features more than 25 original sculptures, a Guide by Cell audio tour of select artworks in the exhibition and kid-friendly labels and activities so the entire family can have fun in the exhibition.
